The Pipeline Ag Safety Alliance (PASA) has set out to transform the relationship between utility operators and the agricultural community. PASA’s relationship with the National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA) is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to fundamentally change communication between utility operators and farmers and ranchers. There are nearly 3,200 NACAA members covering more than 3,000 counties in the U.S., educating farmers and ranchers on all aspects of farming, from planting and pesticide safety, to drain tiling, soil contouring, and more. Each year, NACAA members have over 2 million interactions with farmers and ranchers, and each year, PASA works to establish an army of experts who are motivated to carry the message to our nation’s 3.4 million farm producers (source: 2017 U.S. Census of Agriculture).
